How can I switch on different competitions?
You can bet with your friends on other competitions by pressing on the date’s overview. Other than the National and Champions League, you will find different International leagues in addition.
How can I invite friends to my group?
Invite friends to your group by passing on the group code, which is to be found under the information of the group. They can join the group by entering the group code in “Join group” -> “Received a group code?”
What are the leagues?
Currently, we support 1. & 2. German Bundesliga, the 3. Liga, Super League, the Austrian Bundesliga, Premier League, League 1, Serie A, Primera Division, Süper Lig, Jupiler League, Eredivise, Primeira Liga, Soccer Cup, Champions League and the DFB-Cup!
Until when do I have to submit my champion bet?
The final date to place your champion bet will be written in the particular leagues you bet on. You will be awarded 10 point for guessing the right champion!
What are matchday wins?
You can select matchday wins in your group by selecting Ranks -> Matchday in the dropdown menu. It always refers to the last matchday and shows how everyone performed that day. There is a new winner every day.
To see how often you have been top of the matchday ranking, you can select Matchday wins from the same ranking menu.
Can I use Tipster for Friends on Smartphones and Tablets?
You can install and use Tipster for Friends on all of your smartphones and tablets. And even if you don’t have a phone readily at hand, you can log into the webapp! You can access all features from the mobile app, all bets and groups, if you use your regular account login.

How can I change the design of the app?
You can alter the appearance of the app in your profile. Pick a main colour first and choose a highlight colour for icons and buttons.
I reinstalled the app and now my Annual Pass is gone!
Your purchases are connected to your Tipster for Friends account and will restore automatically when you log in again.
I don’t receive a mail to reset my password. What am I supposed to do?
Probably, the e-mail ended up in your spam folder. If you can’t find it there, please get in touch via e-mail at support@mobivention.com.
A hint in case you registered via Facebook or Google+: If you forgot your password for those platforms, please reset it in your Facebook or Google+ account respectively.
How can I turn off push notifications?
You can turn off push notifications in your profile. You can select individually which notifications you want to receive.
Is my number of groups limited? Is there a limit to the number of members in a group?
No, you can join and have as many groups as you wish.
The maximum number of people in a regular group is 25. If you wish to create a group for more than 25 members, we offer you Premium Groups. Check out Premium Groups on our landing page for more information!
How does the point system work?
If you guessed the outcome of a match correctly, you receive 3 points. The correct goal difference gives you t2 points, and picking the correct winner 1 point. If your bet was wrong, you receive no points.
When is the deadline to place a bet on a match?
You have to place your bets before the kick-off. Before that, you can adjust and change it as often as you want.
How and when will I be able to see the bets my friends placed?
You unlock this feature by purchasing an Annual Pass. After kick-off you can see the bets of your friends by selecting the match and the group you want to check out.
Additionally, there’s one matchday winner per group at the end of each matchday. Who was most successful at betting that day?
I can’t log in via Facebook. What am I supposed to do?
If you have problems logging in via Facebook, please try the following steps:
I am using an iPhone, iPod oder iPad
Open the Facebook app and tap on the icon in the upper left corner. Select “Sign out” in the menu. Make sure you are signed out from the browser as well.
Now go to the Settings of your device. Select “Facebook” and see if an account is registered there. If yes, delete it from your Settings (this step only clears it off your device and doesn’t delete it from Facebook).
Now try to sign back in with your username and password. Pushing the home button twice in close succession and close all apps. Open Tipster for Friends and and try signing in via Facebook again.
If that still doesn’t work, go back to the Settings, select “Facebook” and check if Tipster for Friends was given the permission to access Facebook.
I am not using an Apple device.
Sign out of the Facebook app and delete your Facebook account from the device settings. Go to “Accounts”, tap on the three dots in the upper right corner and select “Remove account”. This will only clear your data off the phone, not delete your Facebook account.
Restart your device and go to device settings. Add a new Facebook account, sign in to Facebook and open Tipster for Friends to sign in via Facebook.
How can I place a bet on my Smartwatch? (iOS only)
To place a bet on your AppleWatch, you have to connect the watch to your device. You also have to be signed in to Tipster with Friends.
Open the app on your smartwatch. By tapping into the text boxes of a match, you can place your bet. One tap increases the number by one. If you wish to place a bet of 2:1, you have to tap twice into the left text box and once into the right. You can save your bet by tapping the button labled accordingly.
Can I set up a reminder for missing bets?
You can turn “Bet reminder” on and off in your push notification settings in the app.
Which result counts after an additional time?
In competitions, such as DFB Cup or international championships, the result after 120 minutes of play is counted, penalty shootouts excluded.
How can I the competitions by date?
To show your selected competitions, tap on the Settings icon in the Bet screen. At the top of the screen, you can select Date to sort the matchdays.
How can I select which competitions to show?
Go to the Bet screen and select the Settings icon. Activate inactive competitions by tapping on the green “+” and deactivate by tapping on the red “-“. You can drag competitions to organize them by tapping and holding the three lines on the right of eath tile. Drag it up and down to place it wherever you want.
Where can I find an overview of the latest team performances?
Go to the Bet screen and select a match you want to bet on. Under Betting Trend you will find a row of colourful squares indicating the outcome of the past encounters of those teams. W represents a win, L is a loss and D means the match ended in a draw. This feature is accessible with an Annual Pass.
Where can I see the current score of a match?
You can follow the current score of a match in the Bet screen.
How can I turn off a group chat?
There are two options to do this: You either adjust your push notification settings in your profile, or turn off the chat straight in the group.
You can do this by tapping on the speech bubble next to the group name. When it’s grey, the group is muted and you won’t receive notifications.
